For a few months BBC iPlayer has not working been working on our UE32ES5500K TV Smart Hub. If we click on the Button, it just goes to a black screen. 4OD, ITV and other services are working OK. It won't let me Uninstall the app, so I can't reinstall a new version. It says its on Version 2.02603.
BBC iplayer worked fine on my lapptop, and when viewed directly on my smart TV. The problems of buffering did not occur with any other player - just BBC iplayer. Ever since I updated to IOS 6, the latest BBC iPlayer App (ver 2.0) keeps restarting after a varied amount of time making it unusable. I have tried to contact the BBC over this matter but all I receive are electronic responses saying no individual reply to the problem can be given. All internet apps work except BBC iPlayer. App loads, you can see the programmes etc but when you go to play anything, the circle spins for a while then the following message is displayed: "02001. Something went wrong loading this programme. This is usually a temporary problem. You can try this programme again or try a different programme" Hi all. About a year ago I bough the LG TV 50PH670V Smart TV. About a month ago, BBC I Player stopped working. Other apps are fine. Can anyone advise on what can be done to get this, the most important app, back?
